19 October: Rally & Lobby Against The Cuts

Rally
The rally will start at 12:30, with doors opening at noon. It takes place at Westminster Central Hall.
TUC General Secretary Brendan Barber will open the rally.
Other speakers are still being confirmed, but will include:
Testimony from service users hit by the cuts
Experts who will outline the alternative
Evidence of the impact of cuts on the wider economy
Campaigners speaking out on why the cuts will hurt
The rally will finish shortly after 2pm.
Lobby of Parliament
From 2:30pm we will lobby Government MPs to press home our message that these deep rapid cuts will hit the vulnerable and threaten economic recovery.
It's always best to make arrangements to meet MPs in advance as they may not be in Parliament that day or busy in meetings. Involving service users as well as public service workers will make our voice more powerful.
